With the development of The Times, wired earphones are gradually eliminated by Bluetooth earphones on the market. But we have to admit that wired headphones have brought us a lot of good memories and convenience. So I choose this headset that has brought me a lot of beautiful music to help me learn as my research object of reverse engineering.

Measuring the size

I took apart the wired headset and saw some of the main components and we measured them with a vernier caliper and made a simple sketch. But I can only calculate the size of many of the components because they are so small. I couldn't measure the curvature of some of the parts and I had to go on the Internet and search for some data to estimate the overall size of the parts.

I made a rough sketch by taking measurements. From the sketch size ratio I have a rough idea of its structure and how to model it. However, I still can't know some small sizes, which can only be calculated by the size ratio between the official product original picture and the picture.

Modelling Process

When I model the product, I build each part and then put it together to make the final product. During the production process, I was not very clear about the control of the thin thickness of the product material. And the back shell needs to be completely and completely overlapped and the size needs to be adjusted.

Technical Drawings

Using the same method, the technical orthogonal diagrams of individual parts are first created and then merged into the final technical diagram. In the process of making the final technical drawing I need to describe the position of each part in the overall part and this requires some perspective. And mark out the size and material of each part.

When making the final rendering, I applied the camera parameters in reality to cinema software to achieve a more realistic rendering effect. When making the 3D rendered animation, I reversed the steel body and the collider, which led to the misplacement of the parts, but I finally found the problem and corrected it.
